This paper cut was inspired by my father, George Johnston—a Canadian poet, translator, and Professor of English. The piece is cut from black cardstock and mounted on lily.

This cut was created from a photo of a dear friend. It’s cut from black cardstock and mounted on yellow.
Today’s project is a variation on the Bear Cowboy cuts (#49 and #49a). This version is a four-layer, four-colour composition: red, yellow, and black on green.
